RMF Strategies Product Suite™
RMF Strategies Product Suite is designed and used for the management of medical malpractice claims and underwriting. It interfaces seamlessly with our Decision Support Suite. RMF Strategies makes it possible for you to use the same core systems CRICO/RMF does to protect our providers and promote safety.
Claims Management, Analysis, and Processing System (CMAPS)
A Web-based claims system that facilitates management of all aspects of professional and general liability and associates insured and non-insured entities with cases. You can monitor the lifecycle of a claim, track indemnity and expenses, and review clinical coding. This system can also be used to attach documents to cases, and promotes communication among all those responsible for managing a case via diary and workflow processes. Loss runs and loss abstracts are provided.
Underwriting Management, Analysis, and Processing System (UMAPS)
A Web-based underwriting and insurance policy management system that simplifies classification and tracking of insured physicians, hospitals, medical groups, and other healthcare-related entities. This system can be used to set and track policies and to electronically generate insurance confirmations and claims histories, which can then be emailed to providers. UMAPS provides users with notes functionality and full integration with CMAPS.
Advanced Report Writer (ARW)
Powered by Business Objects™, ARW delivers a comprehensive reporting tool that allows users to extract all data contained in UMAPS and CMAPS. The system’s capability includes the delivery of standard set of reports, ad hoc reporting functionality, and customized reporting flexibility.
Office Practice Evaluation (OPE)
Our office practice evaluations (OPE) incorporate site visits and interview data at offices and institutions so the risk assessment data can be loaded for analysis. The benefit of this approach is that it allows us to identify systemic problems before errors occur.
